Our Story

How It All Began...

Founded in 2005 by industry veterans Steve and Shelly Brock, Vision Custom Signs has grown from a local operation into a national leader in the sign industry. With over a decade of experience under his belt, Steve established a strong reputation for quality and reliability right from the start.

Based in Fairmont, West Virginia, the Brocks initially focused on manufacturing for local and regional partners, quickly earning a reputation for excellence. As demand grew, Vision expanded its offerings to include nationwide installation and service, leveraging their expertise in navigating municipal regulations and sign codes.

In 2018, Vision embarked on an exciting rebranding journey, aiming to enhance its national sign and branding programs while continuing to nurture its loyal client base.

To further this vision, we welcomed Kevin Agostinho as VP of Operations and Branding in 2019. With his extensive experience in project management and branding, Kevin has been instrumental in broadening our service offerings and strategically placing talented team members across the country.

In 2023, we embarked on an exciting journey to restructure and enhance our leadership at Vision Sign Group. Kevin Agostinho has been promoted to President & COO, while Steve Brock takes on the role of CEO, and Shelly Brock has been elevated to CFO.

We are also thrilled to welcome several exceptional new talents to our team, further enriching our capabilities and commitment to excellence. Together, we are poised for continued growth and innovation in the sign industry!

In 2023, we also took a bold step forward by opening our first international office in Chile, marking a new chapter in our growth and commitment to delivering exceptional sign solutions worldwide.

Steve Brock is the CEO of Vision Sign Group, a leading force in the sign industry with a diverse group of specialties. With over 33 years of experience, Steve along with Industry leader Kevin Agostinho has successfully built Vision Sign Group from a Regional level to a national sign company that is rivaled by some of the giants in the industry. He showcases his specialties by managing corporate branding, graphic design, engineering, customer relations, and establishing growth strategies. Steve is known for his dedication, hard work, and loyalty that has positively affected others within the industry. Outside of work, he loves spending time with family, camping, kayaking, UTV riding and cooking.

Kevin Agostinho is the President and COO of Vision Sign Group bringing 31 years of experience within the sign industry throughout the entire United States. Originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts Kevin has held many leadership roles through the sign industry, leveraging extensive knowledge that drives Vision Sign Group to success daily. His commitment has created a diverse and well-rounded team culture internally, ensuring any task or decision will be made through effective collaboration. His skill set has delivered on time success, through being thoughtful, empowering, and trustworthy. In Kevin’s down time he finds joy in the outdoors and walking his dog through nature. He cherishes game nights with family members and friends, creating everlasting memories, and watching sunrises and sunsets. Additionally, he is passionate about charities and helping when he can. Kevin actively donates to various charities like the Shriners Hospitals for Children, St. Jude's Research Hospital, Human Rights Campaign and Animal Welfare charities.

Shelly Brock is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Vision Sign Group, bringing nearly 20 years of dedication to this company alone. Her expertise has been a huge aspect of growth and landscaping of the organization. Throughout her career, she has equipped Vision Sign Group with overseeing accounting, financial planning, and customer relationships. Born and raised in the hills of Fairmont, West Virginia, Shelly developed her work ethic and reliability early in life which gave her passion to get her business degree. Within her professional and personal life, she always carries a caring trait. This trait has given her the approach to create very strong and meaningful relationships within any environment. Outside of the office, Shelly enjoys living a quite active lifestyle. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, walking, water or snow skiing, kayaking, and hanging out with her puppies.

Originally from Oklahoma, Paul earned his Journalism and Communication degree. He can thrive in any situation which has given him a diverse background and made him well rounded in dealing with various customers and situations. Paul’s experiences have equipped him with a great skill set which includes building connections, resilience, active listening, and being a competitive spirit. His confident strides have contributed to his impressive success in sales. In his personal free time, he enjoys watching college football, spending time with family and his dog, long walks, and watching the sunset.

She started her career in the signage division in 2014 giving Olivia over a decade of experience within sales and vast knowledge within this industry. Throughout these past 10 years, Olivia has spent time managing programs, working with channel letter manufacturing, site surveys, installations, and project management. Seeing all sides of the industry, Olivia has become deeply knowledgeable in every aspect. Her strong resilience, goal oriented, honesty, and adaptability has given her passion in the sales world working regionally and nationally. In her free time Olivia enjoys spending quality time with her husband, spending time with her animals, and playing sports.

Dee Angstadt is the Director of Permitting at Vision Sign Group bringing over 30 years of experience to the company. She is a defined specialist of permitting, graphics, and navigating townships. Whether it be regionally or nationally Dee is known for her on time delivery success, thorough communication, attention to detail, and adaptability in the face of challenges. Her extensive background has been able to cut through red tape and narrow down what is truly the specifics on township allowances for every signage project. The in-depth perspective of her position grants no delays and accurate submission of permits to clients upfront. In her off-time Dee enjoys spending quality time with her family and grandchildren. Also, she loves to cook, kayak, swim, and watch sports.

Josh Borgen serves as a Senior Project Manager at Vision Sign Group. He began his career in the sign industry back in 2007 at a sign company based out of North Carolina. With four years of direct experience and over 20 years of specialized sign education, Josh carries a robust set of skills that includes an accounting degree from the University of Phoenix, expertise in sign fabrication, and vinyl production. Dedicated to project management, he expertly guides employees and clients through the process, showcasing his strengths in problem-solving, communication, planning, budgeting, and mentoring. In his personal time, Josh cherishes spending time with family and his dog Abbey. Additionally, he is an avid reader and enjoys hiking through nature where he captures breathtaking photography.

From Camano Island, Washington Christy graduated from Everett Community College and Ashworth College. With her strong background, Christy guides projects for the company from start to finish. Her primary focus is optimizing development time, planning projects to bring them to life, solving any issues that arise, and monitoring the progress of each job to ensure smooth and timely delivery. Christy’s adaptability is highly valued internally and externally as she continually assesses the best strategies for our clients to realize their vision. In her free time, Christy enjoys gardening and cooking.

Beth Gerhard is the Account Coordinator at Vision Sign Group and has 35 years in the sign industry. From Orwigsburg, PA, Beth co-founded a sign company in 1990 with a friend. This small venture specialized in diverse types of signs from vinyl, router carved and illuminated signs providing her with a full background in sign knowledge. After selling the company, she gained further experience in another organization. Beth processes a detailed skill set like problem solving skills, knowledge, communication, and strong organizational skills. She excels in the ability to manage jobs and customers with a goal to organize the graphics department, so information is easily accessible and readily available. In her personal time, she enjoys reading, golf, and watching movies. Lastly, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Her background has honed her problem-solving skills, time management, and adaptability. Missy loves being involved in projects, transforming ideas into tangible creations that everyone can appreciate. An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys solo backpacking trips, hiking, and camping. In her free time, she also cherishes moments with friends and caring for her beloved four-legged companion.
